Gabriel Moreno came to know the Lord while attending the University of Arizona. Tragically, secular universities is where many christians go to lose their faith. Gabriel believes the Lord designed him to always “go against the grain”.
After being accepted into a graduate program in education with scholarships guaranteed, Gabriel felt led by the Lord to once again swim upstream by taking a job as a 6th grade teacher at Calvary Chapel Christian School located inside of his home church at the time, Calvary Tucson.
Some 6 years of teaching later, the Lord called he and his family to accept an assistant pastor/worship leader role at Calvary Tucson.
In June of 2016 while celebrating his 10 year anniversary, the Lord led he and his wife Brittany to reach out to Calvary Portland to offer their worship services while on their vacation. While there, he met Pastor Terry McNabb.
With this connection solidified and Pastor Daniel Fusco’s vision, the Lord led Gabriel, Terry and Daniel to do something unique in our present culture- to partner together for the furtherance of the Gospel.
“None of us can do, what all of us can do.”
